Home Remedies For Migraines

Migraines are the severe headaches which will accompany with sensitivity to light and sound, nausea and vomiting. It is a pulsating pain which is often on one side of the head. It said to be caused because of problems in nerves and blood vessels in the brain and also through certain genetic factors. The following are some home remedies for migraines.

Gingerroot

Gingerroots are the best home remedies for migraines. These gingerroots will help in getting rid of nausea caused by migraines. Prepare gingerroot tea by taking some slices of gingerroot and make them boil with the water, simmer the gingerroot slices for next 30 minutes in boiling water. Later, have a good gingerroot tea which will be efficient in treating migraines.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is the natural medicine for migraines. It will help in reducing the migraine ache. Take a glass of water mixed with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, if required add some honey to it.  Consume this liquid daily as it treats migraines in an effective manner.

Hot And Cold Compress

Hot and cold compress are the most familiar and valuable form of treating migraines. It also helps in relieving tension. You can alternatively take hot and cold compresses for better results. Take a clean towel wrap some ice cubes in it then place it on your forehead and regions around the neck. Repeat this process for next 10-15 minutes.

Cayenne Pepper

Cayenne peppers are termed as a natural painkiller. It helps in improving the blood circulation. Directions to use cayenne pepper to treat migraines are, take a glass of warm water mix a teaspoon of cayenne pepper to it. If you wish you can add some lemon juice or honey to it. Adding lemon juice and honey will enhance a taste to it. Consume this cayenne pepper liquid whenever you have migraines.
